Perfect for pulling out when the skies threaten rain, this poncho is made from the same 100% waterproof fabric as our best-selling rain jacket, the Swiftwater. The lightweight 2.5-layer fabric features a laminated waterproof and breathable membrane on the inside, while the outside is made of 108g recycled nylon. Molded mesh grid on the inside protects the membrane from wear and tear. Major seams are welded to ensure maximum waterproofing.

The short front zipper provides ventilation and allows the garment to be slipped on and off with ease, even while wearing a cap. It is also protected by a rain flap with snap buttons and has a microfleece reinforcement at the collar to provide optimal comfort. The hood has a textured brim so that it does not fall over the forehead when not wearing a hat and is adjustable with a drawstring to protect against gusts of wind. There is a handwarmer pouch pocket on the front, on which a flap pocket is overlaid. The strong metal snaps that close the side panels and rain flap are coated to resist corrosion.
