Alpha Industries' CWU-45 Heritage Bomber Jacket is based on a classic aviation design developed for pilots as early as the 1970s (since 1972) and still appreciated today for its robust construction and distinctive silhouette. Its characteristic structure sets it apart from earlier bomber models with its pronounced collar and higher-positioned pockets, creating a precise and functional look. The Core Fit provides excellent comfort with more room through the body and sleeves, along with a slightly voluminous appearance that remains true to the classic flight jacket style.
The outer material is made of 100% nylon and crafted from durable Flight Nylon, a material originally developed for military flight jackets and known for its durability and smooth surface. Two spacious exterior pockets with Velcro closures provide quick access to essentials, while an additional interior Velcro pocket offers secure storage for important items. The rib-knit cuffs and hem ensure a stable fit and help the jacket retain its shape even with intensive use.
